No outfit is complete without a great pair of shoes. You can be wearing the most basic jeans and t-shirt, and then boom a fabulous pair of shoes.
They totally complete an outfit!
Haneen and I go bonkers over shoes (although she walks effortlessly in heels, I on the other hand struggle LOL)
Here are 4 picks that we are totally lusting over…(read details under the cut)
1. Blake Lively in Lanvin- We are officially jealous of Blake. She gets the best clothes, and needless to say is always spotted with the best shoes. We love her entire look here, she is wearing Lanvin from head to toe. The dress is stunning, and those shoes are major statement heels! They do not look so comfortable, but we will go through the pain to wear those any day!
2. Dakota Fanning in Prada-You can’t go wrong with a basic leopard platform shoes. And we are digging this pair from Prada. We love how it adds instant color and print to Dakota’s outfit
3. Hilary Swank in Sergio Rossi- We are dying for these gladiator styled heels. The heel is just right, and the design is so trendy. The shoes look amazing on Hilary’s feet, and there is nothing we hate with the look!
4. Sienna Miller in Jimmy Choo-We love this nude suede silver studded wedges. You can wear them from day to night and add that right touch to any outfit, just like Sienna did with this pair of jeans and top and cardigan. LOVE.

As a self confessed jewelry junkie, I love looking at details from runway shows and trying to make them more wearable for day to day wardrobe. And while a lot of the jewelry on the catwalk is pretty yet unwearable, Azza Fahmy for Preen’s FW2010 show was spot on! We love the lace-like motifs and calligraphy.

(1. Silver hand pierced choker. 2. silver multi faceted bangles. 3. Preen FW 2010 show 4. Preen FW 2010 Show. Items available from www.azzafahmy.com , Check website for stockist information)
We absolutely love the futuristic vibe of the jewelry that still maintains wearability. Try layering a choker under a turtleneck sweater for an edgy look this winter!

I absolutely love finding beautiful designer shoes (admit it, not all shoes are pretty). But what makes me even happier is finding AFFORDABLE designer shoes. Yes, you heard it! While H&M are busy collaborating with Lanvin and Gap with Valentino, Aldo comes to us with (in my opinion) a more kick a$$ collaboration. Julian Louie for Aldo! The talented designer presented his collection a few days ago as part of NYFW and the fash crowd was all over the wedges his models were rocking. Its confirmed that those beautiful shoes will hit Aldo stores soon, but the dates havent been announced yet. Watch this space!
Whats your favorite color combination? I think Im gonna get 2 pairs of those and wear them till they fall apart! What better trend for S/S2011 than ethnic tribal and boho?

After spending countless hours going around the malls trying to re-create the 50s “Mad Men” look thats one of the hottest trends of the season, I finally gave up. More structured, and “hardcore” looks seemed to be more common. However, I found a solution! Buying vintage items from Etsy means I can wear genuine clothing from the era, following a major F/W2010 trend, and mixing it up with modern pieces for a more modern approach. WIN! Check out some of the best items out there and channel your inner 50s Betty Draper:

(1. Vintage Rhinestone Crystal Black and Clear Pin Set,$65,bitzofglitz4u. 2.Navy Blue Ribbed Shell Gold Chain Vintage Mermaid Clutch Purse,$27,PrincessSamy. 3.Vintage Life Stride Formal Heels Lace Crocheted Dress Shoes ,$48,MillsDesignCo. 4.Vintage Pink Party Dress, $330,TimelessVixenVintage. All items available through Etsy.com )
How to get the look : A modern take on the 50s look would to pair up those items with contemporary items! Wear the earrings and brooch with your favorite white shirt, the clutch with a simple evening dress, the shoes with almost everything, and the flowery dress with an edgier black jacket and booties! LOVE this trend and how simply it feminises your wardrobe. Try it
